How does fancy text work?
These are not fonts. Unicode — the standard behind all text on your devices — includes whole extra alphabets of mathematical and styled letters. Apps display them as ordinary characters, which is why styled text survives copy and paste: you are pasting real characters that happen to look bold or scripted. That is also the one warning worth knowing — screen readers may read these characters letter by letter ("mathematical bold A…"), so keep important information in plain text too, and use the styles for names, headings and highlights.
How to use it
- Type your text — every style updates live.
- Press Copy on the style you like.
- Paste it into your bio, caption, username or message.
Frequently asked questions
Why do a few letters look plain in Script or Fraktur?
Unicode never made styled versions of a handful of letters (like a script capital H) — those use their official look-alike characters instead, which this tool fills in for you.
Will it work in my Instagram bio?
Yes — these characters are standard and Instagram, TikTok, X and WhatsApp all display them. If an app ever rejects one, it is filtering characters, not something wrong with your text.
