When find and replace saves the day
Client renamed mid-project. A product spelled two ways in one catalogue. A template with "CITY" placeholders waiting for real names. Editing each one by hand is slow and easy to get wrong; this tool changes every occurrence at once and tells you exactly how many replacements it made, so you can sanity-check the result before you trust it.
How to use it
- Paste your text in the top box.
- Type the word or phrase to find, and what should replace it (leave the replacement empty to delete every occurrence).
- Turn on Match case if "Apple" and "apple" must be treated as different words, or Whole words only if "cat" must not match inside "catalogue".
- The result updates live, with the replacement count. Copy it, or send it back to the input for another pass.

Is this regex (regular expressions)?
No — the search is plain text, exactly what you type. That is deliberate: what you see is what gets replaced, with no surprise pattern behaviour.
Can I undo a replacement?
Your original text stays in the top box until you press "Use Result as Input" or clear it, so you can always copy the untouched version back.
